Let me count the ways...LOL

There are three ways an amateur/ homemade porn video is shot. The first and best way of course is having a camera man there with you, so you can concentrate on doing your thing as he or she shoots . #2 is the POV....(point of view)...we called it 'point and shoot' back in the day), where one of the participants holds the camera and attempts to focus on shooting as they do the 'wild thing' for the camears. And lastly there is the infamous tripod style where you either place your camera on a stationary tripod or set the camera down somewhere after positioning it and hoping through all the bouncing up and down, you don't fall out of the view finder...yea, right!...lol...

Success with using either three of these means of shooting your movie revolve around how you position the camera, but that is not the first mistake most beginners make. The #1 thing you need to pay attention to that irks me to no end when people do not do it, is your lighting! There is nothing more frustrating to watch than a good porn movie where everything is dark and you cant see anything. And that is such a major bummer. And some people do it over and over. The action is great, the sound hot, but you can't see a thing. It's like Dustin Hoffman said in 'Mad City', "You're giving the people radio" and they want a movie! Might as well record it to your mp3.

#2 of course is the angle at which you shoot. Many newbies shooting POV get so caught up in the moment of what they are doing and the camera angles are on the knees or mid thigh or top of the head much too long, or with the tripod style user who places the camera on the dresser or end of the bed or a chair or even the floor, in such a way that you are constantly falling out of the scene and don't get the good stuff. Every time you change your position, the camera angle changes unless you get up every time before the switch and re-positioning the camera the right way. That is a lot of work. And you chance losing concentration as well as your woody. You have to stop, get up and then start again, but it can be done and some of the best videos I made in my early work was shot like that. Yea, you have to re focus and sometimes break up a good run of strokes, but the end result takes priority over your pleasure. That is when it becomes good pornographic art work. And the rough edges can be cleaned up in the editing room.

The 3rd biggest mistake newbies make is the sound issue. Either there is dead silence or neither of 'players' have a thing to say...Bummer...! I was the first in the business to start the dirty talk thing... people want to hear moaning and groaning and real life sex! But if you do find yourself with a final product with no sound, with all the new editing software you can add a sound track and that will make a difference, trust me. Their are very few things worse than a hot amateur porn movie with all the right visuals, but no sound. Unless it's the first one your watching...lol...Hey, I use to look at the pantie section of the Spiegle and Sears catalogues...lol.

Those are the big Three...take care of those three technical problems and you are almost there. Ignore them and you are off to a bad start. Remember, you want fans to keep coming back to check out your work.

The Interraical 'thang'...the Last Great Sexual Taboo...part 2

If we look back in history we find very few documented Interracial relationships. We are living in some very interesting times right now...a woman and a Black man both ran for the nomination for President of the USA along with a former prisoner of war. I am not a McCain fan as most of you know, but hey, a former POW...? We have had many Generals becoming President, from George Washington, US Grant, Andrew Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and George W. Bush...(ooops, right, he was one of those guys whose Daddy got him into what was then a cherry National Guard outfit way across state lines)...but Mr. McCain is our first POW to run for the highest office in our country...cudos to you Big John...you won't get my vote though...

Moving on...Props goes out to Paris Hilton with her grand slam comeback to the McCain add lumping Obamma in with she and Britney as 'air head celebrities', O, and don't forget that reference to the Black Man/white woman thing...lol...you know, the subtle interracial stuff thrown in...that's my girl Paris...gotta give her a perfect 10 for that one...especially when she called him the 'old white haird guy with the wrinkles'...I am still waiting for Brittney to mouth off...Come on Baby...! Anyway we are living in a very exciting moment in the political history of the USA...we have not seen this kind of interest and excitement in the the Democratic way of life since the Magna Charta was written or when Bobby Kennedy ran for office...In the words of Buffalo Springfield...'There's something happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear'...but we will all know soon enough...

The Olympics have been fun stuff so far. Seeing Phelps team mate put on the after burners at the last moment to out duel the French, and do it the American way was fun to watch...it was also interesting to see a Black man on the 4 man relay team...and all this time I thought Black men couldn't swim...hey, they said Black men do not eat p***y either... (gulp, gulp)...:)~ And the USA gymnist girl are looking good...

Half a prop out to Hillary and Slick Willy for hanging in there...hey, don't sell that white bitch and her man short...I don't care how sleazy you may think they are, they are still the 'First Family of the Democratic Party, and I fo one still think Hilliary is the #1 bitch in the world of politics...(so sue me)...well at least until the Democratic National Convenion in Denver anway...and what a mind blower that is going to be...Hillary speaking, Slick Willing giving his 2 cents, and Obama rocking the world when he gives his acceptance speach...and here is an interesting concept...me thinks the whole world will be watching when Barak Hussein Obamma becomes the first Black man to accept the nomination to run for President of the USA for the Democratic National Party...history is being made people...it won't just be Americans and a quater million Germans watching, but the whole world will be tuned in...even the Chinese along with that hot head President of Iran and the rest of teh world...and once again as Dustin Hoffman said in Mad City, "That's good TV"...! Years down the road I wonder if we wil be asking, "Where were you when Obama gave his accepted the nomination for the Democratic Presidential candidate?"...who knows...I just know you need to get out there and vote...and BLKMaarq says...

Obama vs. McCain...Politics, sex and the Race card

Politics and sex don't mix...lol...but don't the two go together? I remember during the last Republican National Convention when 'Little Bush' was talking about cleaning up the porn industry, some of my lady friends of the evening reported back to me how they were so busy duing the Republican convention with 'entertaining' their Republican 'constintuents'. But I am not here to talk about 'Little Georgie Bush'...well, McCain, Bush...what's the difference? A Republican is a Republican is a Republican...let's call a Spade a Spade...does anyone really want another 4 yrs of of the ame 8 yrs we have jusst gone through...??? Yes, of course there are those who do...lol...shame on them...I was a Hillary fan of course, but she has since been removed from the equation so to speak. (I would like to see her as the first female VP, but I think we all know that is not going to happen). Anyway, by now you probably know I am a card carrying Democrate and an fully behind the Black guy with the funny name to be the next president of the USA. OOOPs...did I use the word Black? Guess I am playing the race card...lol...shame on me now...lol...I am trying to figure out what the big deal is here with using race as an issue for this next upcoming Presidential election as one of the candidates is Black and the other is white and we are on the verge of making history win or lose...and you dare not tell me that there are people who won't vote for either candidate due to the color of their skin...this still is America, and even though we have made trememdous leaps and bounds over the years, there are still many Black and white folks who can't get past skin color...it's the nature of the beast...hey, I refuse to watch 'vanilla' porn...but I am not prejudice as I do Interracial porn...it is the best stuff out there...so I guess I am 'playing' the race card...lol...

There is nothing wrong with playing the 'Race Card'...this is politics...one is Black and the other is white and there is History being made here, so anyway you look at it, 'it is what it is'...and let's vote for the best man to get us out of this mess our great country finds itself in...so VOTE DEMOCRATIC...

Amateur Porn and the Internet...the first REALITY Show Stars...part 2

They call it POV now days(point of view)...but back in the beginning, it was just simply 'hand held'. All I needed was my 'camera, my BBC and a white girl' and I was off and filming in the comforts of my apt. or a hotel room somewhere halfway between where the white cuck couple would be meeting me to do the video, which of course was for their 'personal' use, but I always got my copy which of course eventually ended up on the Internet. Yes, it was the swinging married white wives and the Black studs who serviced them that were the first REALITY Show Stars. It was not the Jenna Jamisons or Nina Hartleys of the porn world, although I hold both in the highest of esteem for what they have given to the biz...(that's Nina and myself by the way in the pic)...always wanted to work with her but haven't as of yet, We did work on a shoot together with Lexington Steel and Mercedes for Quality Video, one of the early Boston based Amateur Porn Co. back in the early 90's. But we had different scenes on different days and I did not get to work with her that weekend...bummer...Lex at that time was the up and coming star of the moment on his way to LA...just as the Amateur scene was about to go Pro-Am for a season. That was when pros began hooking up with amateur actors/actresses here and there to grab that other 'audience' that was taking over the Internet...and it all started with picking up a camera and doing some 'real' shooting with some 'real' white women...no props, no 'plastic' models, no unnecessary story line...in fact, the first 'requirement' of an Amateur movie was having NO story line...we just did our thing in front of the camera...and it was very real...that was the special flavor of the early 'home grown' movies. Yes, the original REALITY shows stars were the white wives who performed in front of the camera along side Black Studs like me...lol...Gloria, the gang bang Queen out on the Left Coast and Lynn Carroll who would do it all here on the East Coast along with my 2 girls Samantha and Alexxx...these were the true first Reality Show stars that first had the early home made porn clips floating around the Internet. And the common denominator was that they were all into the Interracial scene...it was the taboo scene the Internet helped expose to the world what we Black Studs already knew...just how common the Interracial thing was behind closed doors. Now that is a topic for another time I will dig deep into very soon. But let's give the glory to those early white women who were the first REALITY Show Stars...

Ah, but there could be an argument for Real People and That's Incredible from the early 80's and dare I say that yours truly was on one of the very first Real People shows as the down hill skating Maniacs, Misha and the Capricorn Kidd who skated through the streets of San Francisco downhill backwards at 50 miles an hr...so with both of these on my resume, one could say that I was the first Reality star...lol...

Amateur Porn and the Internet...the first REALITY shows

Porn and the Inernet...wow...! what a lethal combination for disaster...! I wonder if Bill Gates knew all the implications the two together would have on our society...when I was a young horny Black teen walking around with constant 24/7/365 erection, I would go down to the news store on the corner of Washington and Ocean st. where they sold this pink xxx underground newsletter that they stuck way in the back off all the 'legit' papers and comic books and magazines and being a regular costumer who came in every Saturday morning to buy a few new Marvel comic books, they paid very little if any attention to me until it was time to cash out...so I would grab one of the pink xxx porn papers that was more about nasty stories than pics and would slip it into a copy of the local weekly town rag and haul ass home with a raging hard on and the anticipation of pure self pleasure the next next week was going to provide...and next Saturday, I would go and steal next weeks copy. Those mags were the first things I ever stole on a consistent level, ( I stole a piece of bubble gum once...shame on me), and along with a few other xxx things I encountered back in my early years, helped mould me into who I would later become in this bizz...but that is another story for another time. So back to this story. Remembering what I had to go through to get porn back in the day had me chuckling when I saw an episode of 'The Sopranos' where the feds were on their way and Meadow comes into AJ's room to let him know and he is ho hum about it (just another raid) until she asks him if he wants them to find all the porn on his computer...wow...!
Two things hit me here...the look on AJ's face at the prospects of being 'busted' for porn and what easy access we all have to any and all sorts of porn in this new age of the Information Highway...and it is accessible to anyone and everyone...yup, someone opened a can of worms on this one...

But I want to focus on how the Internet has affected the porn industry starting of course with the explosion of the Amateur/Amateur Interracial scene...the two of course go together in an interesting sort of way which I will explain as we proceed. I remember being accepted to a computer school when living in San Francisco back in 1980 but deciding not to go when I found out that my wife to be was pregnant. I was working as a restaurant manager on the grave yard shift, modeling and trying to get into commercials with my roller skating act by day along with just beginning my thing as an interracial porn star pre VCR/VHS days...back when you had to wear a long overcoat with the collars pulled up hoping that no one who knew you would see you in this part of town getting your porn fix. I am sure a lot of you know what I am talking about...lol...( I cover this more in dept in the auto-bio)...anyway, I decided not to enroll, but to get another job with a new one on the way and I will never forget the guy from the college telling me not to make that decision as this was the wave of the future. Little would either of us know that it was the Internet that made me who I became in the porn world. And with the acception of 'Candid Camera', the early amateur porn stars started the REALITY thing that is now the big thing on tv...yes WE started it all with the help on the Interent, (with apologies to John Stigliano of course)...
